Be part of the team that develops and leads the market in the most advanced switching solutions in the industry. Broadcom\'s integrated, low power chips empower networking equipment to transmit, manage and prioritize increasing amounts of complex voice, video and data traffic at broadband speeds, moving data to and from the desktop and throughout the business network. Broadcom offers a range of transceivers, media access controllers, switching chips, serializer/ deserializer chips, network and security processors, and System I/ O chips for Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, SONET and other standard-compliant networking applications.
This a unique opportunity to become an expert in the architecture of our Gigabit (even 10G and 40G) Ethernet Switches, PHYs and, most importantly, the software that allows customers to use our devices. You will contribute directly to the success of the products as you assist our Field Applications Engineers in securing customer design wins and provide support to Tier 1 customers, who are designing their products with Broadcom\'s award-winning StrataXGS switches and PHYs. This role requires a wide variety of work types including c-coding, problem solving, architecture review, collateral creation, trouble shooting, and customer interaction.
