DEHRADUN: The admissions in the first-year courses saw students running from one college to another in the past one month, but finally after the high court declared that admissions will only be based on merit colleges finally opened their admission counters. In the last three days 23,000 first-year admission forms have been sold in the DAV College.
Speaking to TOI, MKP (PG) College principal Indu Singh said, "Admission forms will be sold till Tuesday and they must be submitted by August 30. We will declare the merit list on September 4 and in another three four days from that the admission process should get completed."
So, far 715 forms have been submitted by admission seekers in the BA and BCoM courses for the first year admissions at MKP College.
However, in SGRR PG College, the admission process is nearly over and the college is likely to declare their final merit list on Saturday, and in DBS college around 2,500 forms have been sold so far and by next week the admissions will be over.
